Dr Matthew Clark

Dr. Matthew Clark was in the US Naval Academy from 1987 to 1989 when he then went to UGA to study biochemistry from 1989 to 1991. After that he then went to MCG from 1991-1995 and was part of the AOA Medical Society. Dr. Clark then spent several years as a US Navy doctor (1995-2003) and served as a Navy flight surgeon for part of that time (1997-2003). During that time, he completed his US Navy Aerospace Medicine Residency (1997-1999) and his Master of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health (1998-1999).
From there, he completed a Pediatrics Residency at MCG from 2003-2006 and then the MCG Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Fellowship from 2006-2008.
Dr. Clark is board certified in Aerospace Medicine (past), in Pediatrics, and in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Dr. Clark is also a pastor at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church since 2010 and an ordained minister at Covenant Presbyterian Church denomination since 2014. He is the husband to the best wife in the world, Katherine, since 1994 and the father of their eleven wonderful children. He is also a grandfather to three precious granddaughters. In 2008 he founded Covenant Family Allergy to provide excellent and compassionate allergy care, all for God’s glory, always seeking by His grace to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Curtis Wright

Curtis Wright graduated from Presbyterian College in 2002 with an Honor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  After graduation, he worked for an architectural engineering firm before pursuing his real passion: medicine.  Curtis attended the Medical University of South Carolina and earned his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2006. After graduation, Curtis became NCCPA Board Certified, joined the South Carolina Association of Physician Assistants (SCAPA), and began practicing family medicine.  For nine years, he served as a family practice PA in Batesburg-Leesville and in Edgefield.  In addition, he began serving as a physician assistant in the Army National Guard.  He also joined the Strom Thurmond High School Athletic Department and currently serves as their PA.  In 2015, Curtis joined Dr. Matthew Clark at Covenant Family Allergy.  

When not at work, Curtis enjoys spending time with his wife Carolyn and their two children.  He loves surfing, traveling, and exercising.  He currently attends Fairview Presbyterian Church and has served as Deacon and Elder.  Curtis loves learning about history, especially the history of his native South Carolina.   

Curtis is incredibly grateful to God for the opportunity to work with Dr. Clark. As a father of a child with asthma and severe food allergies, Curtis feels a very personal connection to this specialty area. He looks forward to serving the people in North Augusta and surrounding areas.
