Allergy Testing
A comprehensive panel of skin testing allergens, including tree pollens, grass pollens, weed pollens, molds, animals, mites, cockroaches, and foods. In addition, we have skin testing allergens for evaluation of possible fire ant, honeybee, yellow jacket, wasp and hornet allergies. Our skin testing method is designed to not be painful, not break the skin, nor cause bleeding.
Patient History and Physical Examination
Through extensive and in depth questioning, we will search for all clues to the presence of allergic illness, asthma, and/or immune system dysfunction. In addition, we will seek clues regarding all potential triggers for the allergic disease. A thorough physical examination will also be performed at each new patient visit, searching for any signs of allergic disease, asthma, and/or immune dysfunction, as well as any signs of illnesses known to accompany or complicate allergic diseases.
Pulmonary Function Testing
We use a state-of-the-art, computer-based spirometry device to obtain measures of lung function. We use this information to help in the diagnosis and ongoing management of asthma, and to help understand more about any lung complaints a patient may have.
